December 31, 2018 Our focus on parking has been to provide additional overnight parking to residents in our downtown area. Statement: Tallman Towers Fire
On Thursday morning, a fire at Tallman Towers damaged 8 apartments. Seven families are displaced from the damage caused by the fire. Everyone else should be in the building with the exception of those 7 families. Many thanks to the Red Cross for their efficient response and providing warmth, temporary shelter and kindness to those displaced from their homes. Holiday season begins!
We lead into the upcoming week with a celebration of the holiday season.
Holiday lights will be lit in Veteran’s Memorial Park Saturday, 12/1 from 4 to 6 followed by the lighting of the menorah on Sunday, 12/2 at 4. On Tuesday morning, Mayor’s monthly meeting begins at 9 am. This is an opportunity to hear about Village of Nyack events and ask any questions you may have.
