Updating what's Underground
Why are all those pink markings on the roads in Nyack? Throughout the Village utility surveyors have been marking the location of underground utilities. This underground utility survey is the starting point of a multi-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to replace Nyack’s aging water distribution system. New parking technology is coming!
Beginning this spring, paid parking will be a little be easier in the Village of Nyack.
The current muni-meters will be replace by Pay-by-Plate parking meters that will accept credit, debit cards, and coins. You will also be able to pay via a new smartphone app — and, if necessary, add time to the meter via the app without having to return to your car.
