Summer Music In Memorial park is Only a Few Months Away — Mostly Music will be back for another year, offering free summer time concerts in Memorial Park. But this year, there will be a new sponsor. The Nyack Chamber of Commerce will be taking over this event.
Nyack’s business association is looking to revamp Mostly Music and move half of the concerts downtown to Veteran’s Park on Main Street. The Friends Of The Nyacks, a non-profit group which created this event and has been running it for several decades, has decided to turn responsibility for the annual event over to the Nyack Chamber.
TZ Vista Meeting Scheduled — The public is invited to a March 23 meeting of the Village Board in conjunction with the Nyack Planning Board focusing on the waterfront TZ Vista. Nyack has hired a planning firm who will present issues related to whether the project meets the requirements of the zoning code established for the waterfront and the environmental review process.
